Draft contributor rights

Proposed
  • Understand the purpose, terms, risks, recipients, payment, ownership, and review before agreeing.
  • Decline or leave without surrendering dignity or being assigned a negative status for refusal alone.
  • Know what information is collected, who can see it, why, and for how long.
  • Correct factual errors and attach a response to consequential judgments.
  • Receive promised payment, feedback, credit, and records on time.
  • Keep private navigation separate from funding, recruiting, and workplace-discipline systems.
  • Challenge a rule, claim, or decision without retaliation by The Solar Guild.
  • Use appropriate professional, legal, safety, union, employer, or government channels instead of The Solar Guild.

Operating boundaries

Active work
  • No legal, medical, mental-health, emergency, or crisis service.
  • The Solar Guild does not conduct collective bargaining, handle grievances, or represent a workforce.
  • Every activity must state its actual privacy, deletion, safety, payment, opportunity, and outcome commitments before a person participates. Any promised payment must be funded and delivered.
  • No public rating of named individuals.
  • No sale of identifiable private worker information.
  • No use of one artifact as a universal ability or employability score.

Independence

Active work

No employer, funder, political organization, technology provider, or other partner should receive hidden control over private worker tools, reviews, findings, standards, or contributor records. No outside relationship, sponsorship, control, or endorsement should be inferred unless explicitly stated.
