Build work turns a need into a dependable tool, workflow, product, or operating mechanism. Good building includes maintenance, security, recovery, ownership, and a handoff another person can use.

• Build the smallest part that changes the outcome.
• Document tradeoffs and failure modes.
• Do not automate away necessary human judgment.
• First proof: one maintained mechanism another person can operate without its creator.

Advance work helps evidence-backed results reach the people, partners, resources, and institutions positioned to apply them. It begins after a result exists; publicity must not outrun evidence.

• Match an evidence-backed result to a specific stakeholder need.
• State incentives, risks, terms, and evidence honestly.
• Support adoption and follow up on what happened.
• First proof: one partner adopts one specific result and reports what happened.

• Every Team or Charter states its purpose, scope, roles, rules, expected results, risks, and handoff plan.
• Open participation does not mean unrestricted authority.
• Authority is earned through relevant contribution, limited to scope, visible, reviewable, and reversible.
• Each network should be able to operate without central micromanagement while preserving shared rights, access boundaries, and record rules.
